District Governor
Melvin Jones Fellow Lion K.L. Rajashekara is a well known Lion hailing from one of the prestigious Clubs of our District, the Lions Club of Mandya.
Born to an illustrious family to Freedom Fighter Late Sri K. P. Lingaiah and Smt Kempamma, Lion K.L.Rajashekara is an Engineering Graduate in Electrical & Electronics from P.E.S College of Engineering, Mandya.
In 1998, he founded M/s DOT Computer Training Institute in Mandya and has been instrumental in providing training to over 15,000 students in Computer and other allied programs.
He joined the Lions movement in 2005 through Lions Club of Mandya City. He has served this Club as President and during his tenure, he was able to establish as many as 10 New Lions Clubs in the Mandya Region. In 2012, Lion K L Rajashekara initiated a new club, the Lions Club of Mandya and has served as the Charter Member. Through his continued efforts to strengthen the Lions Organization in the Mandya Region, he successfully initiated 12 New Clubs. In total, Lion K.L.Rajashekara is responsible for extending 25 New Clubs in the Mandya District, a record achievement in the district. Lion K.L.Rajashekara has also served as the GST Chairperson of unified District 317A. During this period, the highest number of Service Activities were recorded in My Lion App, setting an unbeaten record. As Second Vice District Governor, he had the privilege of completing the Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI) Training Program in Jaipur in November 2023, significantly enhancing his leadership skills and knowledge. Furthermore, he has attended the Multiple level VDGs Schooling in Goa in January, 2024 and All India Schooling in Bangalore from May 2023, to further develop and refine his leadership abilities. Lion K.L.Rajashekara was elected as the Second Vice District Governor for the new District 317G during the 47th Annual Convention held on December 31, 2022. Subsequently, he was elected as the First Vice District Governor for District 317G during the 1st Annual District Convention held on April 7, 2024.
He is also the member of various Social and Cultural Clubs. To name a few, he is the President of Kreeda Bharathi Mandya, an active member of Channapatna Sports Club, Power Club Mysuru, and Director of Mandya Recreation Club, Mandya. He is a Life Member of Karnataka Bharathiya Red Cross Society, ISKCON and Bangalore Youth Hostel Association. He has also served as the Charter Secretary of Mandya District Chemists and Distributors Association.
Lion K L Rajashekara is happily married to Dr. Geetha M N, Senior Specialist in the Department of Paediatrics at Mandya Institute of Medical Science, Mandya. The couple is blessed with a son, K.R. Vinayak, studying Masters in Pharmacy, and a daughter, K.R. Arusha, pursuing Ph.D. in Horticulture at Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana.
Immediate Past District Governor
Born in the year 1969 in Mysore to illustrious parents SmtKamalamma and Sri H.T.Narasimha Murthy has pursued his education in Mechanical Engineering at SJCE Mysore. Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, Lion N.Subramanya has been a valued member of Lions Club of Mysore Gardencity since Club was chartered on 16th June 1993. He has involved himself with the Lions Family for nearly 31 years with great dedication and sincerity. His involvement began at the young age of 23 when he became the Charter member of the Club where he has served in all board positions including two terms as Club President. He has served as the Cabinet Officer under various capacities inthe District administration continuously for the past 24 years. Lion Subramanya has served a worthy apprenticeship as a member of our organisation. He has a history of proven leadership and management skills in Lions, in his professional field and also in various other esteem organizations. He has always emphasized on quality in all his endeavors. His creative thinking has brought a wave of freshness into every activity in which he has taken the lead role. Never stop learning is his strong belief. He has successfully attended various schoolings, seminars, Institutes like MERLO & RLLI. He recently participated in the ALLI-Advanced Lions Leadership Institute held in Dhaka, Bangladesh and District Governor Elects Schooling at Chicago USA.
In the 47th Annual District Convention of District 317A, PMJF Lion N.Subramanya got elected as the First Vice District Governor for new District 317G and got elected as District Governor for the year 2024-25 with 100% positive votes at the 1st Annual District Convention of District 317G.
He is the proprietor of The States Engineering Company and the firm has expertise in construction of Smart Steel Buildings. Another firm, The States Building Products for which his spouse Lion Vani Subramanya is the proprietor, is into dealing with range of construction related products and services.
N.Subramanya is the patron member of Builders' Association of India, Mysore Centre and has successfully held many responsible positions before he became the Centre Chairman during 2016-17 with the theme of the year 'New Ideas -New Dimensions'. The Centre bagged the best centre award amongst 170 centers across nation in recognition of various activities held during his tenure as Chairman. He has served BAl as the Karnataka State Secretary during 2020-21. He has also served the Mysore Builders' Charitable Trustas Hon Secretary during 2023-24 and presently he is serving as the Trustee for
He is the member of Builders NGV Club Bangalore, Heritage Club Mysore, Royal City Club, Mysore and a life member of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. He is a fond traveler and has travelled to as many as 30 countries apart from travelling long distances on 2 wheeler during his bachelor days. His keen interest is into current affairs and singing is his passion.
He is married to Smt Vani Subramanya who has served Lions Club of Mysore Gardencity as the first Lady President during 2013-14. The couple is blessed with a daughter Miss Mandara who has persued Bachelor of Architecture in Wadiyar Centre for Architecture.
First Vice District Governor
Lion S. Mathidevakumar mjf born in the year 1950 to Smt. Savithramma and Sri S. Siddalingaiah at Mysore.
Lion S. Mathidevakumar completed his primary, High School and degree education at Mandya, LLB and Masters in Sociology from University of Mysore.
He joined Lions movement during the year 1987 as a Charter Member of well known club of our District, Lions Club of Mysore Jayalakshmipuram. He has served the club in all the positions including two terms as president and Silver Jubilee President. He has served as the cabinet officer in different positions in the District Administration under various District Governors and earned laurel and good name. He was District Cabinet Secretary on two times during the years 1997-98 and 2008- 09. He also served as District Cabinet Treasurer during the year 2006-07.
Lion S. Mathidevakumar served as Zone Chairman, Region Chairman, Two times as District Cabinet Secretary and also as District Cabinet Treasurer. He was excellent Secretary, Best President, Earned Best Club Banner, Best Zone Chairman, Outstanding Region Chairman, Multiple District Best President Award, Many times outstanding District Chairman, Lion of the year 2 times 1997-98 & 2008-09. International President's Medal, 4 International presidents Certificate of Appreciation. He has sponsored two new Lions Clubs and got Two Guiding Lion Awards .

He is married to Smt. Sumangala. The couple is blessed with a daughter and 2 sons and 5 grand children.
Lion S. Mathidevakumar mjf has been unanimously elected as the second Vice st th District Governor during the 1 Annual District Convention of District 317G held on 7 April 2024 for the Lionistic Year 2024-25.
Second Vice District Governor
Born on 15th July 1962 in Kyathaghatta village of Maddur Taluk, Mandya District, Shri T. Narayanaswamy hails from a humble agricultural background. A man of academic distinction, he earned his B.Com and LLB degrees from the University of Mysore, and has since practiced as a respected Auditor and Tax Consultant in Mandya for over 35 years.
A visionary and compassionate social worker, Shri T. Narayanaswamy founded the SLV Education Trust, dedicated to providing educational opportunities for economically and socially disadvantaged children. Through his leadership, countless young lives have been transformed by access to quality education.
His journey of service took a significant turn when he joined the Lions Club of Mandya City in 1997-98. Demonstrating steadfast dedication, he played a pivotal role in establishing several new Lions Clubs in 2012 and extended his service through the Akshya Club in 2023. Over the years, he has held numerous key positions within the Lions organization and earned multiple accolades, including Best President, Best Zonal Chairman (2012-13), and Out standing Region chairman (2014-15). He served as Trustee of the Lions Service Foundation (2018-21), District Chairmanand GMT Coordinator (2023-24), Chairman of the 1st Annul District convention and currently holds the position of District chairman of the PST Forum for District 317G (2024-25). He is also slated to serve as Foundation Trustee of the Lions Service Foundation (2024-27).
Beyond the Lions fraternity, Shri T Narayanaswamy has contributed immensely to various cooperative and community initiatives. His leadership roles include President of the Chamundeswari Consumer Society, Ex-President of the Ashrita House Building Cooperative Society, Director of the Mandya District Red Cross Society, and Secretary of the Mandya Recreation Club, among others each role reflecting his unwavering commitment to social and cultural development.
In recognition of his exemplary public service, he has been honoured with the Kadamba Seva Award and the Mandya District Kannada Literature Award.
